Nycomed proudly supports organizations who share a common belief in enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians such as the Asthma Society of Canada (ASC). Nycomed has given the Asthma Society of Canada an unrestricted grant to develop a website which is designed to address the unique needs and challenges of adolescents living with Asthma.

“Incidence rates of Asthma among adolescents have been rising over the past 20 years and a website which caters to teens highlights the importance of communicating with adolescents about asthma management on their own terms and in an environment they feel most comfortable in.” – Christine Hampson, President & CEO, Asthma Society of Canada.

Hoping to garner the same success in promoting Asthma management, Nycomed Canada has also supported the development of the ASC’s asthmakids.ca, a website designed to promote asthma awareness to children.
