Based in Oakville, Ontario, Nycomed believes in supporting organizations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Support ranges from cash donations to in-kind services, with a strong focus on organizations that are in the town of Oakville.

Nycomed is a proud supporter of the Oakville United Way, and has been recognized as a leader in fund-raising efforts, awarded campaign of the year in 2007.

To further the arts in the region, Nycomed has long provided the McMaster Art Award. Bestowed yearly for the past ten years, a selected artist receives $1,000 to create an original work, and their piece is added to the growing collection displayed at Nycomed’s Oakville, Ontario headquarters.

Nycomed is a proud supporter of the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital’s Health Sciences Library since 2002. Through Nycomed’s support, caregivers at the OTMH now have online access to a wide range of e-journals supporting evidence-based practice, improving patient outcomes.
